Closed Units

1. Punjab Housing Finance Corporation under the Housing & Urban Department, Punjab has been dissolved and its name has been struck off from the Register of Registrar of Companies on 28.01.2003.
   
   
2. A decision was taken to close down Punjab Women & Child Development & Welfare Corporation in the year 1995-96 and the Act was repealed in 2001. The Corporation has been closed down vide Government notification no. 6/2/2003-SSS/167 dated 9.1.2004.
   
   
3. Punjab Land Development & Reclamation Corporation has been closed down on 30.11.2003.
   
   
4. The following PSUs had been decided to be closed down at various times and the final closure is now in progress:
